Kathleen Reichelt is a visual artist, writer, performer and arts advocate working in diverse media. Her work reflects an ongoing exploration of contemporary themes. With a background in Cultural Studies, and an ongoing pursuit of philosophy, the artist is propelled by abstract communication, multiple meanings, puzzles, pluralism and thinking that visual art provokes. 



Reichelt's visual art is part of the permanent collection of the Asia Culture Center in Gwangju, South Korea.  She has exhibited and performed in museums and galleries internationally, including the A.I.R. Gallery in Brooklyn, NY,  Fusion Arts Museum in NYC, VERSEFEST in Ottawa and La Poisson Rouge, NYC.  


The artist writes for the NYC art journal Arteidolia and regularly collaborates on audio, film, video, writing and performance projects.
