Kathleen Florence Reichelt is a writer, director, performer, visual artist and arts advocate.
Her short films, plays, art and installations have been screened, performed and exhibited at Asia Cultural Center, SAW Gallery, AIR Gallery, Project Gallery, Modern Fuel, Niagara Arts Centre, Toronto's Arts & Letters, Casa del Popola, Nuit Blanche and Folie Culture.
As a poet the artist is known as Kathleen Florence. Her poems have appeared in LA's Cultural Daily and have been published by NYC's Great Weather for Media, Three Rooms Press and Arteidolia. She was a featured poet for Great Weather for Media in 2021.
A graduate of Trent University, Kathleen has worked in arts and culture for over twenty years, including the Canadian Opera Company, National Ballet, Canadian Art Foundation, Animation House and CTV.
Grant
recipient of the Canada Arts Council Arts, and Ontario Arts Council,
winner of the Evan Hughes Playwright Award, and recipient of an
honorable mention in the 2019 LA Underground Film Forum, Kathleen is the
founder of Toronto's Garage Theatre, co-founder of 253469 Productions
and Thousand Islands Film + Stage.
